'Bel Ami'

'Bel Ami' is the film adaptation of the novel by Guy De Maupassant published in 1885. In the movie, Robert Pattinson plays Georges Duroy, an ex-soldier (placed in South Africa) who comes to Paris in hope of finding work. He meets an old friend and is given the job of being a Journalist for the French newspaper 'La Vie Francais' in which he makes his way to the top ranks by having several liaisons with the editors wives. 


Having been lucky enough to see the film in March, I can honestly say it is one of the most awesome films I have seen. Despite being filmed just over two years ago, you are able to see how Pattinson's acting abilities have developed and it was wonderful! I loved the period costumes and the amazing sets that were found in Budapest. :) 


I am pleased to see that with the film released 'On demand' on iTunes, that fans from Canada/US & so forth have been able to enjoy the movie by renting it over the weekend and is receiving a vast amount of praise. 

The film is out in the UK on DVD at the end of July.
